When you are putting someone on a pedestal and believe they are greater or more or better than yourself, you are shrinking yourself. What you see in them, is already there, inside of you.
When you put yourself on a pedestal, look down on others and believe they are less than you, you are puffing yourself up. For what you see in them, is there present within you, as well.
Balance point lies in the middle.
One rose does not compare herself to another rose. She simply shines her in uniqueness and allows all other roses to shine in their uniqueness.
Just the way they are.
