Earth has been passing through a high-speed solar wind stream flowing from a coronal hole. Yesterday saw bouts of G1 minor storming (Kp5) and Active geomagnetics (Kp4). Look for same today and tomorrow. Periods of quiet, then Boom! as surges of the solar wind plasma blast through on its journey past Earth
Two solar explosions yesterday:
• A Prominence eruption near top of the Sun at 6:00 PM EDT/22:00 UT, Nov. 3. A CME was released but not Earth-directed
Six sunspot regions — all with stable magnetic signatures — on the Earth-facing sun today

• Solar wind speed: Elevated
• Solar wind densities: Elevated
• Interplanetary Magnetic Field: Average; northward orientation
