Are you ready? Let’s begin:
SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Yellow – the solar plexus chakra color is a primary color, composed from a single ray of light. Yellow is the color of sunshine and it is the core of your being. It is at the solar plexus where the “I” shines from, where you feel the strength, will and personal power. The energy of yellow is vibrant, optimistic, and full of energy. It is the color of youth, new beginnings, birth and re-birth. At the same time, yellow is wise and knowledgeable.Yellow connects you with knowledge and your intellect. People who are drawn to yellow are drawn to intellectual pursuits. As you unfold the petals of solar plexus chakra, you find a fire that burns within you, that gives you power and energy to stand for yourself and to assert yourself. You find trust and inner worth. That is the healing brilliance of yellow.
On a physical level yellow relates to the solar plexus, stomach, digestive organs, middle back, pancreas, liver, and muscles. People with strong yellow energy stand tall and radiate power. Those with weak yellow energy appear collapsed in the middle, they are slouching – their back or abdominal muscles are weak. Yellow energy is will, autonomy, and self-definition. It is the building block of personal development and power. Yellow represents the developmental stage when we begin to learn to use language. Yellow is an expansive color. The gift of this solar plexus chakra color is that you radiate bright energy to others letting them know you are strong and confident at the core. The challenge is when this energy is blocked or excessive and it manifests as contraction of this bright energy. The spiritual aspect of yellow energy is instinctual knowing and growing into spirit. The developmental task of the solar plexus chakra is autonomy and the development of the self. However, on the spiritual level, we must always remember who we truly are and not to get lost in the “self” identification.
No discussion of the solar plexus chakra color would be complete without talking about self-esteem – your fundamental power. So, what is self esteem? Self esteem is how you feel about yourself. It is your thoughts and feelings about yourself.
For example: I feel good about myself. I am kind and compassionate. I am competent. I like my body. Healthy self esteem means that you have basic trust in yourself. That you have a sense of self that does not fall apart when you are faced with challenges or things do not go your way. When you have a healthy self esteem, you know that it’s ok to make mistakes. And that you can learn from mistakes. The level of your self esteem determines how you behave in life – how you interact with others, spouse, children, friends, coworkers, authority figures, and strangers.
When you have high self esteem, you have a drive to express yourself and to communicate openly and honestly about your needs and desires. You choose healthy relationships and you recognize the value of these relationships. You treat others with respect, non judgmental attitude, and fairness. When I want to feel stronger and more self assured I sometimes consciously choose to wear the solar plexus chakra color yellow. I noticed that when I wear yellow, I have more energy, I express myself openly, I stand taller and I am happier. (Source: http://www.chakra-anatomy.com/solar-plexus-chakra-colors.html)
The Sanskrit name for the Solar Plexus is Manipura. It is also known as the seat of the soul, for it is our power center. The parts of the body associated with this Chakra include the muscular system, the skin, the Solar Plexus, the large intestine, stomach, liver (color yellow), and other organs and glands in the region of the Solar Plexus. Also the face, representing figuratively the face one shows the world.
Parts of our consciousness associated with this Chakra include our perceptions concerning power, control, freedom, and the ease with which one is able to be themselves. The mental activity and mental body are also associated with this Chakra. The Solar Plexus Chakra corresponds to the level of being that we call the personality, or ego. It is the seat of our self-esteem and our will. It is our action in the world, going out and getting what we want.
When there is an over abundance of energy in this center we will encounter someone who is a workaholic, a perfectionist, domineering, dictatorial and arrogant.
When there is a lack of energy in the Solar Plexus we appear depressed, we lack confidence, and we worry about what others say (fear of who we are). We may exhibit insecurity, jealousy, distrust, and a constant need for reassurance.
When this Chakra is balanced we show self-respect, respect for others, and a sense of personal power. We are outgoing, cheerful, relaxed, spontaneous and very expressive.
Yellow is the color associated to this Chakra. It is the Chakra of the element of fire. Fire walking is excellent for this Chakra; it gives you the feeling that if you can do that then you can do anything. Sun bathing holds other benefits for this center, but Ian Watson had commented that we do not sunbathe properly. We sit in our offices for most of our life and spend two weeks out of the year in the sun. The best remedy is a regular sunbathing program. Allow the energy of the sun to soak into the Solar Plexus from the front, and a nice warm fire on your back. Think how good it feels to stand in front of a fire with your back to it! IS YOUR MANIPURA – SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA IN BALANCE?
Do you often find yourself overworking and over indulging? Are you domineering and overly controlling? Or on the contrary do you feel that you have a lack of confidence, and worry too much about what other’s will say or think about you? Do you often find yourself being jelous of others? Do you need to be reassured about your decisions? When someone says something you don’t like do you feel it literally going to your gut as if you were hit there with something? If the answer to any of these questions is yet then you need to work on healing and balancing your solar plexus.
Diabetes, Digestive / Adrenal organ illness, Hypoglycaemia, issues are – power and control.
The Navel Chakra governs the stomach, upper intestines, upper back and upper spine.
This Chakra is about asserting yourself in a group. When it is open, you feel in control and you have sufficient self-esteem. When this Chakra is under-active you tend to be passive and indecisive.
STOMACH – INDIGESTION – SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
EMOTIONAL COMPONENTS OF YOUR STOMACH, INDIGESTION, ULCERS ISSUES.
One of the organs that are associated with the solar plexus charka is your stomach. If you are experiencing stomach aches, indigestion or ulcers, your emotions might be at play, to help you I would like to share an article from Luís Martins Simões book “Does Your Body Lie?
“, in which he states the following:
“, in which he states the following:
The stomach makes up the fourth segment of the digestive tube. It stores recently eaten food and takes it down to the duodenum.
Indigestion and difficult digestions have to do with the stomach.
It belongs to the earth element of the five elements of eastern philosophy.
The stomach’s first function is to serve as a recipient, so we may say that it represents the capacity for hospitality towards another person. To receive implies abnegation, passivity, and surrender. In this perspective, the stomach is a yin pole, feminine.
The stomach’s second function, this one more masculine, more yang, is to produce acids that attack, corrode, and decompose the food, since the stomach is the organ in charge of digesting matter in the first instance. So, the stomach digests the person’s feelings and emotions.
So stomach problems represent, first of all, a difficulty in allowing oneself to experience feelings and emotions, and, secondly, a great difficulty to digest them.
In the stomach resides the conflict of not being able to digest the chunk (digest what happened to me), whether real or virtual.
When the emotional conflict is very active, the stomach needs more gastric fluid to digest better. The person remains mulling over what others did to him. Here the emotional tension is of the type: “You bastard, I can’t even digest it!” The stomach patient does not like confrontations. His stomach calls for baby food.
The stomach patient cannot deal with his anger, his emotional wear, either to turn it into a verbal aggression or simply to verbalize the emotion he feels. Emotion comes from ex-movere, which means to move out. The stomach patient finds himself forced to swallow his temper, his rage. Literally, he swallows bile and then feels the stomach acids in the form of heartburn (dyspepsia) because, to digest all this, the stomach must produce much more gastric acid. Gastric secretion is directly associated to the mind.
This suppressed emotions that the stomach patient deals poorly with are associated to material problems, professional problems, money issues, legal and educational matters. Stomach problems are very much down to earth. They have much to do with a person’s roots and essence (work, home, Mother, place where he lives, and money). A burp (see Aerogastria) is a release of air, of stomach tension, and it gives relief. An ulcer is also associated to roots, but exclusively with the relationship aspect. It is associated to the couple and the home.
The person who does not get along with one of the people he lives with, constantly feels that he cannot digest the tensions he feels towards that person. Yet, for whatever reason, he continues to live with that person (either because his beliefs do not allow him to leave or because he does not have the material possibility, or maturity, to leave that environment) and is continuously forced to face that person. He may well develop an ulcer as a result. In the beginning, when the tension is active, the person feels a stinging pain in the stomach and later he bleeds.
The ulcer results from the continuous aggression that the person creates against himself by fearing to effectively confront others or to allow himself to get out or to leave. The ulcer is directly associated to relationships. It is as if the body was saying that it needs more space to digest and then proceeds to make a hole (the ulcer).

WHAT TO DO TO HEAL YOUR ROOT SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
There are many things that you can do today to assist in balancing out your Solar Plexus chakra. You do everything that’s listed, none of it, or simply pick and choose what your body and mind are resonating with and proceed from there.
MEDITATION: You can simply close your eyes and focus on your Solar Plexus chakra. You can add a mudra to your meditation and/or add a mantra specific to this chakra.
You can even dress in the colors associated with the solar plexus chakra which is yellow and all shades of yellow. Or go even further and focus on eating foods that are supportive of the solar plexus chakra. One step further as you are doing Yoga spend a little extra time on a yoga pose which opens and balances out this chakra. Be prepared as you go through this exercise that in order to balance out your solar plexus chakra many emotions that have been stored in this part of your body may begin to rise.
Pay attention to your thoughts as you go about your day, and try to truly tune into the reasons to these thoughts, feelings and emotions being there. Give gratitude for the experiences associated with these emotions and let go of any negative feelings that you may have in this regard. As you are working with releasing your emotions various vibrational remedies should come in handy for you. Try using some of the remedies in this article below.
FOODS TO EAT AT THIS TIME
The third chakra transforms raw fiery energy into action and is your source of self-esteem. Sunny yellow foods really help to clear and balance this chakra, especially yellow peppers, but you can also try corn, yellow lentils, yellow curry, and bananas. Since this chakra converts energy, it needs foods that are not absorbed too quickly, so avoid sugar, white flour, and processed foods, if your third chakra is off-kilter. What you want instead is complex carbohydrates and whole grains that burn more slowly and keep you energized longer.
Foods to eat to balance out your Manipura are:
- Yellow Peppers
- Corn
- Yellow Lentils
- Yellow Curry
- Banannas
- Grains like Cereal,
- Rice
- Flax Seeds
- Sunflower Seeds
- Milk
- Cheese
- Yogurt
- Ginger
- Mints (unless you are taking homeopathy)
- Chamomile
- Turmeric
- Cumin
- Fennel
- Any food that is Yellow!
Solar Plexus Chakra crystals & gemstones
The full list of gemstones for the root chakra is very long, a short list of the most popular gemstones to use for balancing out your root chakra are:
- Citrine
- Yellow Green Sepertine
- Amber
- Amblygonite
- Lybyan Gold
- Tektite
- Yellow Tourmaline
- Yellow Prehnite
- Fire Opal
- Yellow Topaz
Or you can choose to work with The Goddess Vortex Disc.
Another tool that I love and that works specifically on opening up the solar plexus chakra is of course The Goddess Vortex – This is one of my very favorite tools, and I love to use it to not only balance out my solar plexus but protect this area from any negative energy that I might pick up as I walk around in dense areas of the city. This tool has worked magic in alliviating aches and pains. I have also noticed that it helps me to remove EMF radiation. Whenever I use my cell phone for too long without headphones I feel how that area of my head heats up and buzzes, right away I put this disc on the side of my head where I was talking, my ear, etc., for a few minutes and this odd sensation dissapitates. After doing some research on this, it turns out that everything that this tool is made of besides the wonderful energy that Natalya Ankh infuses it with, is knonw to relieve EMF radiation! So I can tell you from my own experience that this tools is magical!
“As the fabionachi sequence swirls into the proportional frequency of the DNA codexes, the ingeneration of the DNA principles and polarities begins to unfurl the processes within the sub atomic particles of the DNA structure of the one holding the disc. What we are trying to say to you dearly beloveds, is that upon holding the disc you are engaging the energies of your sub atomic principles to step forward, and the vortex that has been created to pull your subconsciousness into the sphere, allowing you to pass through the zero point and return to your true state of being. And so, the disc acts as an accelerating device and an attunement instrument to cleanse your DNA from remnants and frequencies past which are affecting your body and your consciousness in a way that is against the good of your higher self. And as such allowing the ascension process to move forward without delay. Using this disc will allow the energies to be magnified and applied directly to the one in question, and tune the body of the beholder and attune the DNA of the beholder with the frequency of THE SOURCE entering GAIA.
Know that this disc comes directly from the mother father god, representing itself in a GODDESS Vortex of your creator selves, the feminine energies held therein. Yes indeed the design comes from the father/mother god. Directly from THE SOURCE. Aligning you with your higher self and your mission here on earth. Yes indeed for it opens up the solar plexus of creativity channel of your being and sends the vibration throughout your whole physical and sub structural bodies.” To learn more about The Goddess Vortex Sun Disc please click here.

AROMATHERAPY FOR SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA (ESSENTIAL OILS)
Because imbalances tend to take on essentially two different extremes depending on the yin/yang balance, it’s importance to take these energetic attributes into consideration in the selection of essential oils for solar plexus imbalances. Take the yin and yang expression into consideration and use oils with more of the opposite quality. For example, if agitation and aggression which associated with too much yang are present, emphasize yin essential oils. Some common essential oils for the solar plexus are:
- Black pepper (Piper nigrum)
- Everlasting (Heliochrysum italicum)
- Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
- Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
- Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
- Grapefruit (Citrus x paradisi)
- Juniper (Juniperus communis)
- Neroli (Citrus aurantium)
- Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
- Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium)
- Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile)
- Rose (Rosa damascena)
- Sandalwood (Santalum album)
- Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi)
- Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)
- Ylang Ylang (Cananga ordorata)
Most of the solar plexus essential oils clear negative energy and bring in positive, supportive energy. This includes many middle and base notes: fragrances that are heavier and unfold more slower than the bright top notes of citruses, for example (see our blog on fragrance notes). Because of the connection between the solar plexus and the digestive system, imbalances often call for essential oils that aid the digestion such as black pepper, fennel, ginger, grapefruit, German chamomile (Matricaria recutita), lemon (Citrus limon), peppermint, and rosemary (Rosmarinus offinicalis). These essential oils should not be ingested. Instead, properly dilute them (less than three percent) in a carrier (organic vegetable oil) and lightly massage them into the abdomen.
Ylang Ylang is an excellent yang pacifying essential oil for solar plexus imbalances. It’s cooling and clearing. It clears anger, frustration and other emotionally charged or agitated states. Ylang Ylang makes one feel lovable, joyful and peaceful. Consequently, it promotes enthusiasm and confidence.
Black pepper, Cape chamomile (Eriocephalus punctulatus) and juniper release feelings and energetic blockages associated with anger, frustration and annoyance. Juniper also detoxifies and helps clear the liver. It strengthens the will power and eases a sense of fear of failure, which supports the restoration of self confidence and a sense of self worth. Roman Chamomile is calming and promotes a feeling of peace. It dampens excessive ego and frustration. It cultivates patience and self nurturing and helps one recognize and accept one’s own limitations without self criticism and recrimination. Fennel reduces the tendency to over think and overanalyze. It generates a sense of self love, self acceptance and self worth and gives one motivation, courage and confidence.
Peppermint is a great essential oil for the solar plexus. It can both cool and warm. It stimulates the flow of chi, especially in the digestive organs and in the subtile bodies. It quills anger, pride and overheated thought patterns. Peppermint instills a healthy self esteem and self image. Tea tree has several unique attributes that treat solar plexus chakra imbalances. It provides support in overcoming feelings of victimization and hopelessness. Helps one see and accept the shadow self.
Spikenard works deeply. It nourishes a sense of hope, love and compassion reflection. It releases fear of the unknown, opening one to courage and action. Neroli promotes self confidence, inner trust and self acceptance; and it dispels despair that’s of an all encompassing nature. Neroli instills a sense of ease, hope and joy. Both Neroli and Rose bring in positive energy. Rose is self nurturing and instills self love and appreciation, trust and hope. Sandalwood offers many of the same attributes with an additional connection to spirituality.
Grapefruit is cooling (more yin). It works on depression, lack of self confidence and nervous exhaustion which are more yin in nature. Ginger is strong and bright in nature. It helps those who suffer from a lack of motivation, especially when it stems from a lack of confidence and positive self worth. It instils confidence, courage and inner strength and reduces resistance. For those who are lethargic, debilitated and/or suffering from nervous exhaustion, everlasting is a good essential oil to choose. http://www.starchaser-healingarts.com/essential-oils-and-the-third-or-solar-plexus-chakra-manipura/#more-6147
VIBRATIONAL REMEDIES FOR THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
There are many vibrational remedies to balance out your solar plexus chakra, and in the future messages when we will discuss another part of the Sovereignty Seal I will share more remedies with you.
One of the remedies that I would like to mention today is a Solar Plexus Chakra Essence Blend by Tree Frog Farm. I have personally tried all of their blends and must warn you that they are strong, so 1 drop is enough per time that you use it. You can also apply this essence directly to your solar plexus chakra to balance it out. The Solar Plexus Chakra Essence Blend works through the energy circuits of the Solar Plexus Chakra, the lower thoracic spine, and the digestive organs to support the healthy functioning of the Solar Plexus Chakra.
When the Solar Plexus Chakra is open and active, it brings mental clarity with focused, organized, well-planned action. Higher quality thinking regulates emotions so you can think clearly and feel authentically. This encourages emotional empowerment, joy and wonder in daily life. A healthy sense of autonomy, self-reliant and self-directed personal power stimulates the energy to engage your will and to manifest from your innate sunny disposition through cooperation with others.
The Solar Plexus Chakra Essence Blend aids healthy metabolism of food and life experiences. It is the seat of “gut intuition.”
For more information on this essence please visit TreeFrogFarm.com.

- Gorse – which helps you to have hope
- Gentian – which helps you to accept setbacks
- Centaury – helps you to be more assertive and listen to your own intuition
- Oak – if you’re a workaholic this is the remedy for you, it helps you to let go and restore endurance
- Crab Apple – helps you to accept your imperfections, also helps with digestion. To learn more about these remedies please visit bachflower.com
Hyland’s Cell Salts – I also recommend using Schuessler’s Cell Salts/Tissue Salts. These are very fast acting and incredibly powerful remedies that will get you into balance fast. They are easy to use and can be found in your local health food store or online at stores such as Iherb.com or Amazon.com, etc.,
Nat Mur (Natrum Muriaticum), the water-distributing cell salt, helps the body balance and better distribute its fluids. It is ideal for relief of symptoms of headaches, colds, and heartburn. Nat Mur plays a role in the production of hydrochloric acid and is also helpful for symptoms of gastric upset and distress.
Nat Phos 6X (Natrum Phosphoricum) Relief of Indigestion, Gas, and Hyperacidity
Among the twelve essential cell salt medications, Nat. Phos. (Natrum Phosphoricum) stands out for its ability to relieve a range of symptoms related to acidity in the body. When excessive or disturbed acidity in the digestive tract results in symptoms of hyperacidity, indigestion, or gas, Nat. Phos. can stimulate the body’s ability to break down the acids and restore a natural balance without slowing digestion or neutralizing the acids needed to digest food. Tablets are flavorless and dissolve immediately without water for no upset stomach.
Nat Sulph (Natrum Sulfuricum) Temporary Relief of Flu Symptoms, Nausea, and Vomiting
Nat. Sulph. (Natrum Sulphuricum) is the cell salt indicated for relief from symptoms of the flu, including rheumatic pains, nausea, and vomiting. It is particularly useful in instances where symptoms are aggravated by cold, wet weather or damp places. Tablets are flavorless and dissolve immediately without water for no upset stomach.
HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
The Solar Plexus is our furnace of fire. It is our will, our being, and our inner strength. Remedies found to be appropriate for this Chakra are the fire remedies, including fire itself. We also see the power of the seasons having an intense effect on this energy center. Spring is a time of death, birth, and being reborn. It is a time of the renewal of our Spirit. Our souls seek new journeys. Autumn or Fall is a time of the coming months of rest, a time of detoxification. Summer brings the emotion of joy, and we learn how to balance it. Our feet are most often exposed in the summer. The feet are our connection with the earth and are what essentially roots us on many levels. Summer is a very important time to come in touch with our Root Chakra. Winter brings the much needed rest, but some may also encounter sadness due to the lack of sunshine and warmth to feed the furnace of the Solar Plexus. In regards to the homeopathic remedies that may be used, we may see the remedies that relate to the digestive tract, the liver, and the gall bladder. (Source: https://hpathy.com/)
The following description of remedies was written by Dr. Luc De Schepper a phenomenal doctor whom I had the pleasure of meeting and being guided by. He was the first Homeopath that I have come into contact with and homeopathy has changed my life! Dr. Luc has since retired but has transferred his practice to an amazingly caring and knowledgeable homeopathic doctor by the name of Farah Gron whom I absolutely love! Those of you who have been following me for a while heard about Farah Gron, but if you haven’t and need a really great homeopath who cares deeply about helping you, then you can reach out to Farah at www.NewLifeHomeopathy.com. She does Skype sessions as well as in person consultations. But going back to the description of remedies for the Solar Plexus. In his book which I highly recommend for everyone to get “The People’s Repertory” Dr. Luc writes:
Phosphorus – It has numerous uses, including bleeding disorders (bright red blood, without a tendency to clot) nose bleeds, and bleeding after surgery or a tooth extraction overly heavy menstrual cycles, postpartum bleeding, etc., In these situations it stops the bleeding rapidly. It should be taken before any surgical intervention, as close to surgery time as possible, and again afterwards if bleeding is a problem. Phosphorus is used for many lung conditions (such as viral pneumonia) with a hard, racking, burning cough, worse from lying on the left side. It is also used for sore throats where the person cannot talk because of pain in the larynx. If only people who have been struck by lightning knew about Phosphorus. This phenomenon is not as rare as one would suspect; support groups are everywhere for these unfortunate people who complain of fatigue and headaches after being struck by a bolt of lighting. Phosphorus would be the perfect remedy fo this and for sever electric shocks. Phosphorus is also used for many hypoglycemic conditions. And Cal. Phos (cell salt) 6X is the greatest remedy for preventing and treating osteoporosis (3 pellets dry, in the mouth daily). People who are constitutionally a Phosphorus type are especially susceptible to this condition.
Lycopodium – Is a great remedy for the liver and gastrointestinal tract. For example, it it s a great remedy for constipation, typically occurring when you travel. When this constipation is accompanied by great bloating below the navel (you look five months pregnant after a meal!), even after a few mouthfuls of food with fermentation in intestines – especially after cabbage, beans and onions – and strong cravings for sweets, then Lycopodium will come to the rescue. It’s important to remember that all complaints relived by Lycopodium are typically worse from 4 – 8 p.m. and better after midnight, better from hot food and drinks but worse from being in a warm room. Complaints are mainly right-sided. Lycopodium can also be indicated when complaints go from right to left, as in a sore throat. Sore throats relieved by drinking hot liquids are also likely to respond to Lycopodium. Another indication is a dry tickling cough at night. Acid indigestion, often leading to headaches, will also respond to Lycopodium. The emotional picture of this remedy (foe people who need it in chronic diseases) is one of very low self-confidence, especially for any new task or anything out of the ordinary routine. There is a great fear of failure and a child will constantly say, “I can’t do this”. Therefore, the child often keeps postponing his homework (further lowering his self-esteem) and struggles with his parents. The result is often a diagnosis of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). So Lycopodium is a great remedy for this type of ADD, as well as for dyslexia problems. The low self confidence exhibited by people who need this remedy often stems from a humiliation, fear, fright or betrayal situation.
Nux Vomica – Here’s news for those of you who believe in curing a hangover with the proverbial raw eff in a pot of coffee. A hangover from alcohol (especially from beer() can be relieved as if by magic with a few pellets of Nux Vomica. Nux Vomica is used in gastric conditions in general; it relives the pains and bloating from overeating, especially from fatty and rich foods or too much coffee. It’s the perfect remedy for the sedentary business person, plagued by constipation, gas and burping, and craving stimulants like coffee and alcohol. It will relive indigestion with a feeling “ as if there is a weight in the stomach” about one to tow hours after eating. It will also relive constipation with the typical ineffective urging; the person keeps trying to defecate, always feeling that there is more to come out. I have seen nothing better for the constipation of a newborn baby. People who have long term constipation after taking too many laxatives can be helped by Nux Vomica, although they should do so under the care of a homeopathic physician. Nux vomica is also a major remedy for alcoholics, as well as for hay fever attacks with spasmodic sneezing in the morning upon awaking (with the nose stopped up at night and runny in the day). Another great situation for Nux Vomica is insomnia due to stress at work: a person takes his problems to be and typically wakens at 3:00 a.m. tossing and turning, thinking about what he did yesterday and what he has to do tomorrow. Of course he feels unrefreshed and groggy ( as if he has a “hangover”) upon awakening. Only a cup of coffee seems to get him going, bu this leads to a vicious cycle requiring more and more coffee.
