How could Divine Marriage be Contrived?
The whole “Dating Game” especially that which has been set up in Hollywood and has been an “institution” in the USA for so long (not nearly as much publically elsewhere), from teenage to retirement, is a game of victimhood, disappointment, hurt, and “heartbreak”.
I have seen its aftermath here on my wall almost daily.
You yearn for a partner to share your life journey with. You have been burnt and have some very clear ideas of what you do not want. Thus you see these traits all around you, you are sensitized to them. You have a “list” and you look for someone who fulfills their opposite. But it becomes futile because no one fullfils your ideal and if they do they are with someone else or have no interest in meeting you in your place of need.
This is the crux. You want someone who will allow you to be you and will freely come to you without any hidden agenda, and yet underneath you want them to be who you think they “should” be. Impossible don’t you think?
So much of what I said in my post on “Betrayal” the other day applies equally here. The ultimate betrayal is simply that you agreed, before you even came here into 3D, to experience the disengagement from your Eternal connection and ever Present, Everlasting Love..........the betrayal of your own Knowing.
And so it is your reengagement with your SELF that you seek. YOU are that Gift of LOVE for you ARE LOVE INCARNATE and LOVE EVERLASTING.
While you are looking for someone to fulfill your needs you will never be able to recognise the gifts another has to offer you. even when they may be in plain view. Furthermore, the gifts in a relationship come from mutual open sharing, They are gifts that delight, and thus are surprises and cannot be preempted through a “dating strategy”.
And relationships always make available a unique capacity in each to be able to “press the buttons” of the other, because you will mirror each other’s self-judgement without even trying.
Can you throw caution to the wind and allow totally, with open heart and excitement of a new phase in your growth sharing with a Soul partner? Are you willing to share your journey fully with another and allow them to share theirs exactly as they see and are experiencing it rather than as you want it to be for them?
Are you willing to throw all specific criteria out the window and say:
”Please send me someone with whom I can share my life with, and with whom I will be challenged to the highest “good” for myself and for them. And may it be more than I could hope for and expect in ways I cannot envisage from here. So Be It.”
And Now can you then let the whole thing go knowing that all is in Divine purpose for the highest good of All?
